These needles are twirled or made to vibrate for some minutes up to an hour. Further, it is possible not to use needles in acupuncture. an additional form of stimulation is laser-acupuncture and the basic digitpuncture.

Needles Used in Acupuncture

Sometimes, the practitioner will pass electricity through the needles to increase the effect of stimulation. This may be anywhere from 15 minutes or more. This will also help free up the 2 different kind of blockages – the excess qi or insufficient qi problems. Hence, leading to an even, just nice energy flow. Do note that the position of the needles are very precise for different health conditions.
